Processing:
Also known as semi-fermented teas. The vast majority of Oolongs come
from China and Formosa (Taiwan) where the finest varieties are still
handmade following the traditional manufacturing process.
Character:
Oolongs have some of the qualities of both black and green teas. At
their best, Oolongs are beautiful, full - bodied teas with a fragrant
flavour and fruity, sweet aroma. They are becoming more popular for
their health benefits.

Hairy Crab-China
This is a premium grade oolong tea. The fragrance of this tea has been
compared with that of Jasmine. The leaves are robust and show some green.
A golden yellow brew with a smooth sweet taste. Mild and very soothing.
Min-Pei Special Grade-China
The name refers to a tea from Northern Fujian, where mountainous terrain
that has been harsh for farmers bestows tea growers with a more welcoming
setting. Robust thick leaves mark this as a classic Oolong, one that lovers
of traditional Oolongs will favour.
Sechung Special-China
Dark leaves lead one to expect some fire, but the brew proves otherwise.
The cup is light golden amber and gives a long lovely fragrance and full
flavour. A good value tea.

Pu-Erh
Processing:
A unique aged tea, pu-erh is made from large-leafed Yunnam tea and is
stored to age after oxidation.
Character:
Popular in Chinese teahouses with dim-sum meals, pu-erh has long been
valued for its medicinal benefits. Chinese believe that it aids in digestion
and reduces cholesterol. Pu-erh tea makes a dark, full bodied brew with
an earthy taste. Flavour endures through several infusions.
