Processing:
Their production consists of only two steps: steaming and drying. The
absence of withering, rolling and oxidation leaves the appearance of
the leaves essentially unaltered.
Character:
The most delicate of all teas, appreciated by tea connoisseurs for their
unmatched subtlety, complexity and natural sweetness.
Mutan Peony Special Grade -China
Long silvery buds mingled with both light and dark green leaves. Orange brew with slight toasty flavour.
Super Shou Mei-China
Great valued white tea. Slight degree of oxidation, making for a flavourful cup, imparting a characteristic toasty and nutty flavour.
Yunnan Bai Mudan -Fujian – China
Amber in colour with very few stems, this white tea has a nice balance of silver tips and green tan leaves. White teas are still enjoying a surge of popularity and this one shows why. Served iced this would make a real treat.
